Who would have ever thought a night out with friends could inspire a revolutionary intimate skincare brand?

In today’s episode, I chatted with Wendy Rose Berry, CEO and Co-founder of ConditionHER, and Eugenia Marshall, COO and Co-founder of ConditionHER, an intimate skincare brand that features a natural moisturizing cream that reduces ingrown hairs and chafing irritation, soothes razor burns, and treats vulvar dryness.

The story behind ConditionHER is both hilarious and inspiring. In 2013, Wendy and her girls went out for drinks, and it was the perfect opportunity to share an interesting development in her relationship. Her significant other at the time was vocal about what he liked, well-groomed  pubic hair. Wendy, who prefers brazilian waxes decided to oblige him but was confronted with a new challenge; she could not figure out how to soften her newly developed “bush,” as she referred to it.

The night did not only end in laughter and an extraordinary suggestion for the product name, but it birthed a vision to produce a product that many women never knew they needed and one that no company in the United States was providing. For a few years after the epic night out, Wendy and Eugenia searched for the perfect chemist, and were often met with dead-end…male chemists who were not passionate or as interested in the best ingredients needed to formulate a product that would safely cater to a female’s pubic area.

The Gamechanger…

Until one day, on vacation, while chilling in a hot tub. Wendy met a female biochemist from Europe who was able to take their vision from dream to reality. She helped Wendy and Eugenia with formulations and helped them refine their vision and correctly identify the problem they needed to solve. The brand pivoted from just focusing on softening pubic hair to a health and wellness brand that addresses issues such as PH balance, postmenopausal skin conditions, and much more.

Wendy and Eugenia are a dynamic duo who show us how you can work with your best friend, and thrive as professional working women while wearing many hats.  This episode will have you laughing while educating you on intimate skincare, business building and making boss moves while working in corporate America.
